2025: Steady Growth and Meaningful Progress for ROCKIT Programs’ Alumni

Lithuania’s innovation ecosystem continues to evolve and 2025 reflects a year of steady progress for ROCKIT programs’ alumni. From practical AI applications to international recognition and new partnerships, ROCKIT supported founders are taking confident steps forward: improving industries, strengthening inclusion, contributing to Lithuania’s growing presence in the global startup landscape.

A Headline-Maker of 2025

Luna Robotics, a defence tech startup developing advanced imaging systems for FPV drones, stood out this year. The company secured €1,08M investment and with significant steps in product development and international recognition, also earned lots of notable achievements, including Latitude59, Baltic Business Awards, Startup Fair Pitch Battle, Kaunas Startup Awards prizes and an official assignment of NATO Stock Number, marking an important step for operating in defence-related markets.

With its rapid progress, Luna Robotics is advancing defence capabilities and contributing to a safer tomorrow.

Innovation for Inclusion

Another standout success story - SensePilot, startup creating an assistive technology software that lets users control computers hands-free, continued its growth from early-stage participant in ROCKIT programs during 2024, to a multi-award-winning innovator this year. The team launched its beta version, formed a strategic partnership with the Lithuanian Union of People with Disabilities, secured over €160,000 in grants and innovation prizes and earned recognition across Europe.

With a mission to use technology to empower people with disabilities, SensePilot is setting a new example for inclusive digital innovation.

Emerging Stars & New Opportunities

2025 was not defined only by headline investments, it also marked growth at the earliest stages.

Samata24, a construction cost calculating platform, reached significant milestones, generating over 350 project estimates with a combined value of more than €6.2M. This demonstrates how digital tools are already transforming established industries.

Alcemi, creating an AI shopping agent, secured a €10,000 grant and launched their pilot projects with cosmetics, home decor and sport companies, validating market fit through hands-on implementation.

COVA Green, a startup turning humidity into electricity, secured €2,000 at Kickstart Lab, €20,000 at Hack4Planet and formed a partnership with electronics manufacturing company Kinetus, demonstrating how early traction and persistence fuel future development.

ROCKIT Energy Bootcamp winner Fivrec, transforming the way critical metals are recovered and reused, is on a powerful upward trajectory as well - growing steadily and operating profitably. The team is on a roll taking home the Startup Fair Pitch Battle win,  being crowned “Startup of the Year” at the Kaunas Startup Awards and selected as the Public choice award winner at the Startup Lithuania Accelerator powered by Plug and Play Tech Center.

2025 was a year of consistent growth and execution for Softloans. Throughout the year, they also established important strategic partnerships with key market players such as Luminor and Montonio, creating broader opportunities for merchants across the Baltic states to access more flexible, business-tailored financing solutions. Softloans was mentioned by Forbes Polska as one of four Lithuanian startups with the highest potential of rapid growth and making a significant impact.

Each achievement, whether large or modest, contributes to a shared trajectory of progress across Lithuania’s startup community.

In 2025, ROCKIT startups also stepped onto the global stage

Thanks to program opportunities and prize initiatives, alumni teams participated in some well recognised international startup events: TechChill, Latitude59, Impact Day, TechBBQ, Startup Day. This successfully resulted in new partnerships, media visibility and competitive wins. Collectively, ROCKIT programs’ alumni startups won or raised more than €1.5M in 2025, proving the tangible value of exposure and community.
