"Ignitis is all about green energy, and it’s all about people with a green mindset. We are developing the future of energy where it’s sustainable, stable, and provides value to people in Lithuania and the Baltics", - said K. Mirinavičius.

Why Ignitis Supports Startup Acceleration

Ignitis is not only focused on developing and operating green energy assets but also on building strong connections with the startup ecosystem. Programs like the Energy Bootcamp are vital for this mission.

"Our innovation development is mainly about people, networking, hearing what others are doing, and testing it out. That’s why we’re here at ROCKIT, to connect with startups and explore fresh ideas", - Mirinavičius explained.

The Future of Green Energy Solutions

Ignitis is particularly interested in AI-driven solutions in the energy sector, from efficiency improvements to advanced security and operations. By working with startups, the company aims to accelerate the adoption of digital solutions that strengthen Lithuania’s position as a leader in renewable energy.

At the same time, Ignitis continues to invest strategically through partnerships with Contrarian Ventures and World Fund, both dedicated to clean technologies. This approach keeps the company at the forefront of innovation while supporting a vibrant cleantech ecosystem.

Lithuania’s Role in the Global Energy Transition

Karolis Mirinavičius also highlighted Lithuania’s leadership in renewable energy:

"Not many people know this, but Lithuania is one of the leading countries in green energy transformation. We are basing all of our future energy needs on wind and solar. The ambition is high, the vision is clear, and the results will be visible within just a few years.”

Building Bridges With Startups

What stood out most during the Energy Bootcamp was Ignitis’ openness to collaboration. Mirinavičius encouraged startups not to hesitate in reaching out:

"We are very open. If you have questions about energy, where it’s moving, or what solutions are trending, please come to us. We are happy to connect".

The Energy Bootcamp proved that when corporates like Ignitis join forces with startups, the path toward a green, sustainable, and innovative energy future becomes clearer.
