Buy-to-let platform InRento has been recognized as the best Investment Tech of the Year in Europe

InRento, a Lithuanian-founded buy-to-let investment platform and ROCKIT member has been awarded as the #1 investment tech of the year at the Europe FinTech Awards. The awards ceremony took place yesterday, 7 July, in London.

"It's a huge honor to be nominated for multiple categories among the best European fintech, and it feels incredible to be recognized as the best in our sector," said Gustas Germanavičius, the founder and CEO of the platform. He has represented the company at the awards ceremony.

The finalists for this year's Europe Fintech Awards were selected from hundreds of submissions for this year's event by an independent judging panel featuring representatives of the European Digital Finance Association, Payments Europe, Icelandic Fintech Cluster, Copenhagen FinTech, Spanish Fintech and Insurtech Association, and European FinTech Association.

One of InRento's main goals is to make investing in buy-to-let accessible to everyone: "With this product, I want to enable people to save and invest wisely. Buy-to-let crowdfunding is relatively new in Europe, and I think being innovative helped us to be recognized internationally", says Germanavičius.

Acquiring a rental property may take years of work and patience to save the required capital. "Therefore, I have created the possibility to invest in rental properties from 500 EUR without worrying about finding tenants or managing the property, while earning income interest from rental and capital gains," says Germanavičius.

The lack of lower-risk real estate crowdfunding opportunities for investors, not only in Lithuania but also globally, is obvious. In just one and a half years, InRento has become the EU's largest licensed buy-to-let crowdfunding platform. Together with companies InRento acquired and merged with, it now unites the community of 13,000 investors worldwide and has funded more than €16 million.
