From Frustration to Innovation: Strato Journey Toward Smarter Homebuilding

It’s always rewarding to see bold ideas take shape—and even more exciting when those ideas grow within the Rockit community. Strato Create, a Rockit member and participant in both the SIA program and our Proptech Bootcamp, has recently reached a major milestone by securing a €167.4K investment to scale its automation platform and expand internationally. Born from over 15 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Strato Create emerged in response to real-life inefficiencies. “While developing our own modular house system, we encountered firsthand the issues plaguing design and early construction—manual work, constant revisions, cost overruns, fragmented communication,” says Beatrice Laurinkute, co-founder and CEO. “Despite using modern tools, we were stuck in workflows that were slow, wasteful, and error-prone.” This led to a bigger vision: a platform that automates and optimizes design, cost estimation, and collaboration—making building faster, smarter, and more sustainable from day one.

Evolution Beyond Modular

What began as a tool for modular house manufacturers has evolved into a powerful, cloud-based platform that connects architects, builders, developers, and homebuyers. Today, Strato Create offers real-time cost estimation, energy calculations, multi-criteria design optimization, and collaborative tools that enable seamless communication across the entire construction value chain.

The platform doesn't just generate designs—it helps teams make better decisions, faster.

Big Vision, Bigger Steps Ahead

With recent backing from CoInvest Capital and angel investors, Strato Create is preparing to enter Scandinavian and UK markets. Product-wise, the roadmap includes support for multi-storey buildings, enhanced supplier integration, and a more intuitive user interface tailored for both professionals and homeowners.

“Our goal is to become the go-to platform for automated design and estimation in construction,” says Beatrice. “We want to empower everyone involved—from architects to homebuyers—to build smarter.”

A Boost from the Rockit Community

Programs like SIA and the Proptech Bootcamp played a key role in Strato Create’s momentum. “Rockit gave us a strong launchpad and access to an innovation-driven ecosystem. SIA opened up visibility and funding opportunities, and the Bootcamp helped us refine our model for global scale,” the team shared. “The support, mentorship, and community gave us the tools and confidence to grow faster and test smarter.”
