Palanga Energy Bootcamp 2025: Pivots, Partnerships and a Path Towards a Greener Future

In late August, Palanga turned into a buzzing hub of innovation as 12 startups came together to power up their energy ideas. From solar and EV charging to smart grids and predictive maintenance, the bootcamp wasn’t just about fine-tuning tech, but also shaping solutions the market actually needs.

Teams went through more than 130 mentoring sessions with 35+ experts in energy and sustainability, while legal specialists helped them navigate patents, regulation and other sector-specific challenges. The results spoke for themselves - one startup made an unexpected pivot, meanwhile, more than 15 powerful synergies were discovered and some startups already agreed on further cooperation.

A New Kind of Pitch Battle

This year, the bootcamp experimented with a completely new pitch battle format. Instead of traditional pitches, startups competed in a forum-style quiz, making the contest more engaging and interactive for both participants and the audience. Six standout startups walked away with recognition for their breakthrough solutions:

🔸 MarkeDroid - seamless Virtual Power Plant orchestration

🔸 Refusion Recycling - solar panel recycling technology

🔸 Tiltsun - solar installations using robotics

🔸 Stirleng - heat-to-power conversion

🔸 RESET Air - end solution of clean and healthy air

Besides the glory, startups walked away with ROCKIT and 3o - Out of Office memberships, tickets to Startup Fair, TechBBQ, Impact Day conferences, a fast track to the Startup Fair Pitch Battle and an exclusive invitation to the Investors’ Breakfast. All thanks to the amazing partners of the bootcamp.

Walking Towards Sustainability

Bootcamp life wasn’t only about brainstorming and pitching. Participants also joined the Walk15 challenge, turning seaside walks and networking breaks into a shared achievement of 850,000 steps - a perfect reminder that every step, big or small, adds up on the road to sustainability.
