Following the successful launch of the Baltic FinTech Awards last year, the initiative returns to spotlight the companies, leaders, and innovators driving the development of financial technology across the Baltic region.

The 2026 Baltic FinTech Awards will honour the organisations and individuals shaping the region’s fintech landscape, from pioneering technologies and new financial solutions to companies demonstrating strong growth and leadership within the sector.

​

With a set of award categories covering key areas of the industry, fintech companies and leaders across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are invited to put forward their achievements, innovations, and contributions to the continued development of the Baltic financial technology ecosystem.

1. FinTech Company of the Year

Celebrating and recognizing excellence across the financial technology sector. This award honors a FinTech company that is driving industry change, delivering outstanding products or services, and making a significant contribution to the development of financial services locally and globally.

2. FinTech Leader of the Year

Leading the way! An exceptional person, playing a key role in the Baltic FinTech community and making a significant contribution to the whole financial technology sector in the country.

3. FinTech Growth Story of the Year

Going above and beyond. The best story of a FinTech company, whose hard work, excellence, and creativity led to rapid but steady growth in terms of users, revenue, or entering new markets within the year.

4. FinTech Infrastructure of the Year

Company transforming financial services through technology, infrastructure, or platforms that enable other businesses to build and deliver financial products. FinTech enablers from Cyber Security, RegTech, Analytics, Big Data, Identity, Financial software, APIs, banking-as-a-service, payment infrastructure, and related areas are applicable to this category.

5. FinTech Innovator of the Year

The sky's the limit. The company applies innovative technologies such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, Biometrics, Robotics, or other emerging technologies to create outstanding, future-proof FinTech solutions.

6. FinTech Startup to Watch

Recognizing a promising fintech startup demonstrating strong potential to shape the future of financial services. This category celebrates emerging companies that have introduced innovative solutions, gained early traction, or are rapidly gaining attention within the Baltic fintech ecosystem.
