December 11, 2025, Vilnius – FinanceEstonia, the Fintech Latvia Association, and Rockit Vilnius have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to create an event that showcases Baltic fintech innovation and positions the region as the next global powerhouse for fintech development.

The partnership leverages the Baltics’ unique strengths, including the highest concentration of unicorns per capita globally, a deep reservoir of expertise, and cutting-edge know-how in building and scaling technology companies. The organizations aim to amplify the region’s reputation as a fintech innovation hub while fostering collaboration across borders.

“The Baltics have a proven track record of producing global fintech leaders. This memorandum is our commitment to amplifying that success and making the region synonymous with innovation,” said Kaido Saar , Chairman of the Management Board of FinanceEstonia.

A key initiative under this collaboration is Baltic FinTech Days, set to convene over 1,000 participants, more than 300 companies, 70 expert speakers, and 25 partners on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2025 at the City Hall in Vilnius. This event will rotate annually among the Baltic capitals, ensuring Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia each have a platform to spotlight their ecosystems while strengthening regional cooperation.

“Rooted in the belief that we are stronger together this partnership is about firmly positioning the Baltics on the global fintech map. By joining forces, we strive to ensure that our ecosystems thrive locally and gain recognition internationally. The Baltics have much to celebrate, from Wise in Estonia and TransferGo in Lithuania to Mintos in Latvia, and many more. Baltic fintech companies are leaving a significant mark on the global financial landscape,” said Tina Luse, Managing Director of Fintech Latvia Association

The agreement unites Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia’s vibrant ecosystems and sets a platform for increased collaboration among startups, corporates, and regulators.
